Q. Why is Camp Diggity Dogs Daycare so much less than other doggie daycares and kennels in San Diego?
A. Because we have so much more space and a city permit for overnight dog boarding, we can have more dogs during the day, as well as dogs overnight, so the price per dog is less, although we'll never crowd our facility. Plus, we believe in making life good for the pooch, we're not all about making money.
Q. What is the outdoor doggy daycare space like?
A. The outdoor exercise area has an artificial turf surface to keep your pooch's feet soft, and his/her fur clean. There are 6 palm trees so your pup can pee on a tree in the great outdoors. We encourage them to go pee outside, to help house-break them. The swimming pool is the highlight of the camp where he/she can cool off and get a swim. Our shaded cabana with comfy couches will give your pooch a chance to get out of the sun and relax or nap, and get love love from our staff. We have tons of balls and toys and our great staff will make sure your dog gets lots of exercise, so he goes home good and tired. Whether here for doggie daycare or overnight dog boarding, he/she is sure to love it!
Q. What happens if I get stuck at work late and can't pick my dog up?
A. You have a couple of options. If you live close by, the Diggity Dog Mobile can take your pup home. Otherwise, we may be able to arrange for an after hours pick-up, or for only a small additional fee, your dog can spend the night with his/her new friends and have twice the fun.
Q. Why is doggy daycare important for my dog?
A. First, it provides up to 11 hours of exercise, difficult for anyone to provide for their dog. Additionally, the first few years of a dog's life is when he/she learns to socialize and play with other dogs. Dogs who don't get around other dogs enough often tend to be unsocial. Of course, exercise also leads to a long healthy life for your pup. And at night, a tired dog is a well behaved dog.
Q. How does the pick-up service work?
A. Just call ahead of time and let us know you would like limousine service. If you can't be home, you can leave your dog in an area we can get to, or provide us with a key to an area.
