How To Get Started

As long as your dog is friendly with other dogs, or at least not aggressive (some of our dogs are shy and like to stay to themselves, which is fine), all we need are current vaccination records for Rabies, Distemper (DHLPP), & Bordetella.

We also need these 2 forms: Information Form  Agreement Form     If your dog is boarding overnight, please bring his/her food, so we don't have to change your dog's diet.

Bordetella must have been given within 1 year, however we HIGHLY recommend having the vaccine every 6 months. (Some vets even say that if it was given intra-nasally, while being more effective, it lasts ONLY 6 months) In addition, if your dog was up-to-date and receives a bordetella shot booster, you must wait 1-2 days (less if intra-nasal) before coming. If your dog was not up-to-date, you must wait 7-10 days before bringing your dog (less if intra-nasal). Bordetella vaccines can be done at Governor Animal Clinic for just $12.

All dogs are screened for good personalities and are separated by size and energy level, for both dog daycare and dog boarding. Tougher breeds and less-socialezed dogs need to be screened ahead of time. Others can be screened on their first day of daycare or when they arrive for boarding.

Note:

Please do not bring sick dogs to camp as they can infect other dogs. Dogs with contagious illnesses, such as Giardia or Kennel Cough, will not be admitted and cannot return until medication is finished and verbal OK from your veterinarian has been given.

Please inform Camp Diggity Dogs about your dog's health concerns as soon as they come to your attention.

Thank You, Camp Diggity Dogs
